Unconventional But Effective Solutions

For some time know you have been viewing comments about change management, leadership, performance management, strategy and turnaround 101.  These are all foundation elements for a sound business.  Now it is time to focus on YOU, the business owner.  I mean, do you have the knowledge and experience to adequately address each of these elements?  Do you have the time?  The interest?  In a lot of cases the answer is a resounding NO!

This is where executive peer groups fit into your life.  They offer a non-competing world where you can unload your issues and receive unbiased objective feedback from 12 to 16 peers at the same time.  How great would it be to have your very own sounding board to help you learn, grow and test proposed actions before sharing them with the outside world?  Picture walking into your workplace fully armed with all angles of an issue diagnosed and action plans laid out.  You can go from idea to implementation to begin reaping the results in record time.  All the time knowing that your competition is still trying to think up something on their own.  Members of these peer groups generally outperform their non-member counterparts by nearly 3Xs.

The beauty of these programs is that the time and financial investment is small and the benefits are huge and yours to keep.  You can even share the new-found knowledge with your staff and partners for added benefit.  All you need is an experienced business leader to oversee your group to ensure everyone benefits.

These programs are not for everyone.

  • You have to want to learn and be willing to share your thoughts and issues.
  • You have to want less stress and anxiety.
  • You have to want more from your business with less time spent in your business.
  • You have to want to be exceptional.

If you answered yes to any or all of the items above, find a group NOW!  You begin benefiting after the first meeting.

Before you begin your search, not all programs are the same.  There are some key questions you need to ask when exploring the options.

How long has the organization been in existence?  An organization with a long history has a wealth of best practices to share so you don’t have to reinvent the wheel.

How many members do they have in total and in your area?  Your business may be global or regional.  A presence in your backyard or around the globe provides additional market insight and local assistance when needed.

Do they have the majority of industries represented?  This ensures you have best practices anywhere and can import them to your industry.

Do they have well-trained seasoned business leaders ready to take you into their group?  This ensures your experience will be beneficial and immediate.

Has the organization demonstrated results?  You want to be certain the claims have been proven so you can be assured the techniques work.

Does your group leader have a vision of your success and guarantees a positive result?  You want someone with your best interest at heart and guaranteeing you get there.

Armed with these questions, you can make an informed decision.  Should have more questions, feel free to leave a comment or click on the contact tab and contact me directly.
